Lorenzo Ballesteros of Eagle Pass passed away peacefully in his home on April 23, 2010 at the age of 76. He was born in Piedras Negras, Coah, Mexico, on April 22, 1934 and was preceded in death by her parents Everardo and Consuelo. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and dear friend. He is survived by his children: Sons; Juan, Everardo, Ramon, and Oscar Ballesteros—all from Eagle Pass. Daughters: Leticia Mata, Patricia Delgado, Susana Ballesteros, Yermida Rodriguez, Consuelo Ballesteros, and Elizabeth Alvarado—all from Eagle Pass. 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Raul Rosales, Armando Rosales, Carlos Rosales, and a sister, Maria Elena Rosales. A funeral mass was held on April 26, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery under the direction of Yeager Barrera Mortuary.
Cornelia Santos was born April 28, 1927 and passed away on April 21, 2010. She is survived by her brother Jesus Cardenas, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Friday April 23, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Yeager Barrera Chapel and interment followed at the Maverick County Cemetery under the direction of Yeager Barrera Mortuary.
Funeral Services were held on April 24, 2010 for Lucia Sanchez, 86, who passed away on April 20, 2010 at the Acuity Hospital in San Antonio, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 15, 1925 in Eagle Pass, Texas. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, Brothers: Marcos and Juan Peña; Sisters: Ofelia Torres, Margarita Vicente, and Martha M; and Sons: Jesus and David Sanchez. A funeral mass was held on Saturday April 24th at 9:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery under the direction of Yeager Barrera Mortuary.
Adolfo Rodriguez, beloved husband and father, 81, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2010. Adolfo is now at peace. He was born May 15, 1928, in La Madrid, Coahuila, Mexico, to Alejandro Rodriguez and Leonor Romo. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Fransisca G. Rodriguez; Sons: Adolfo and Armando Rodriguez; Daughters: Sandra Rodriguez, Alma Leticia Barrera, Griselda Saucedo, and Leonoro Marisela; a brother, Alfredo Rodriguez; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass was held on April 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Getsemani. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery under the direction of Yeager Barrera Mortuary.
